I’m wondering when my momentum will crash.  If I really can get a shot each day this year I’m going to make an album of it at the end.

On a different note.  I’ll be announcing this years Single Parent Contest along with some news about possible spring mini sessions in the next few weeks so be on the lookout for that.

‘Chucks’

My cat.  He’s getting old.  I’ve had him since I was 19 years old.  Now he acts like he’s 19 years old!  This cat has moved 5 times with me.  He’s dealt with 3 children coming along, 2 other cats (both gone now) and one huge dog.  The dog still hasn’t been able to catch him.  🙂

Noah.

I meant to take my camera with me when I left for church this morning.  We weren’t planning on going home right after and I wanted to make sure I got my picture for today.  I forgot it, of course.  And because I didn’t have it or my iPhone with me the best image happened!  I went to pick up our 3 year old in the nursery and found him sitting up asleep sucking his thumb.  It was priceless!

After that disappointment I was able to capture an even better moment.  Our oldest made a commitment today to read through the bible this year.  Today was his ‘Day 1’.  I found him cuddled up in the living room chair like this tonight.  I call it ‘An answered prayer’.

I know I know.  It’s really day 15 of 2011, but I’ve only just decided to do this.  Each day this year I’m going to pick up my camera and photograph something…other than clients.  Whether it’s my children, or something I’ve baked, a place we’ve been, etc..  Sometimes being a photographer I forget to document the regular stuff.  The stuff that makes the memories.  The stuff that’s just for fun.  🙂

My guitar playing daughter.  I call this Rock ‘n Color.
