While most of the country was shopping all night long, frantically searching for the best Black Friday deals I was photographing this beautiful family.  When mom called me to schedule we were hard pressed to find a date left that we both could do, but it did happen!  She didn’t shop on Black Friday and I didn’t have any plans to either so it worked out beautifully!  When mom filled in the ‘image request’ part of her client forms she wrote “would love to get a picture of the entire family but I’ll take what I can get.  It’s hard to get 4 kids this young!”.  Well, I guess we achieved the impossible then.  😉

Thank you, Raye for sending me such a sweet, laid back family!

I love it when babies give me plenty of asleep AND awake time.  This little princess did just that.  She has the prettiest face don’t you think?  She fought her sleepiness for a good while in the beginning and by the time dad got there we were getting in the swing of things.  One of the many things I’m enjoying about the studio is that we are right next to the best pizza joint in Rogers.  Dad went next door to The Rail pizza company and brought back their dinner to the studio.  So dad’s, don’t dread your baby’s session.  Just plan a little pizza and kick back on the couch.  😉

I had a lot of fun during this session.  These sisters were so sweet together and so helpful with their baby brother.  Three children all born in different countries.  How cool!  Australia, Singapore and little baby boy right here in Arkansas.  I’d be willing to bet they have more stamps on their passports then me!  🙂

I met this mom during one of my first FOCUS classes to teach mom’s (and non- mom’s) how to use their camera’s.  Since then I’ve been blessed to photograph them several times.  The last time I saw baby G she was a newborn.  I can’t get over how fast babies grow! Her big brother is a hoot!  He makes me laugh every-time I see him. This time they even got to bring their cousin with them.  🙂

Even though having a studio gives me a new platform to get creative I still think I’ll always love shooting at a clients home more.  It’s a little like waking up on Christmas morning, walking into someone’s home and getting to shoot in a new place.  🙂
