This blog has suffered from my absence since going back to college. Baby Duke is now almost 6 months old and I’m just getting around to blogging his birth. He is just as adorable as his big brother, and I can’t wait to share his images as he grows up.

Talk about quick! Baby Mack almost didn’t let me get to the hospital in time to see him born…but I beat him.

He came screaming into the world on August 21st, 2018 at 7:46AM.

He’s a healthy baby boy at 20in, weighing 7lb 4oz.

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made” Psalm 139

I had the great privilege to document Keegan James’ entrance into the world on February 7th, 2018. It was a 5 hour drive for me to get there, so I left at the first sign of labor. The good news was driving in the middle of the night made it so I wasn’t delayed by traffic; the bad news was it was a 5 hour drive in the middle of the night. lol! I wouldn’t have missed it for the world, and at 11:50am this beautiful, healthy baby boy was born.

Mom did such an amazing job bringing Keegan into this world.

He was a perfect 7lbs 15oz and 19.5 inches long.

His two big sisters were thrilled to meet him! They are going to be amazing sisters to Keegan, and hopefully helpers to mom.

Thank you for letting me be a part of this day. I can’t wait to see how you grow, and who you become. Keegan, you are surrounded by love, and created by God.

Posey Grace graced us with her presence on November 27th @ 5:53AM. She weighed 6lbs 7oz, and was 19.75 inches long with

a full head of dark hair. Miss Posey didn’t waste any time being born; mom texted me at 4:43AM saying “Just woke up…bout a

min apart.” She wasn’t playing! This is the third child of theirs that i’ve had the privelage of witnessing being born. Best thing

ever! Mom and dad waited to find out if it was a boy or a girl; and the look on the siblings faces when they got into the room to

find out was priceless!

Barrett was on his way! Dad texted me in the wee hours of the morning to let me know it.was.time. I was really thankful that he decided to come at that time, because it meant there would be no traffic the whole way there; which we all know is a nightmare with the construction going on. So I got there to a quiet room…

Mom was progressing nicely, and we knew he’d be ready to arrive very soon. But sometimes things don’t happen the way we think; sometimes baby’s decide to take a turn…and turn is what he did. Sweet baby Barrett decided he was uncomfortable, and had turned around.

So off we went to bring him safetly into the world.

Mama really wanted to have skin-to-skin time right away with him.

He arrived safe and sound on October 14th, 2017 at 8:54am. Bear weighed in at a whopping 8lbs 5oz, and was 20.5 inches long!
