I’ve had the honor of photographing baby Emery since she was inside her mother’s womb. I documented her way into this world, and have been able to continue her journey through this first year. This session her big sister got to join in. Sibling bonds are so special and so unique. These girls have such an age gap between them, but if it’s anything like my girls and their age gap their in for a beautiful sisterhood!

I remember the first year I photographed this guy. He was a baby with no hair and a big smile! Each year it has been a true joy to watch him grow. Little ‘J’ is so full of love. Everytime I show up to a session his first action is to run up and hug me. THAT is why I do what I do. I don’t want to just see you one time – I want to create a relationship with your children. To watch them grow up in front of my camera, and for them to have their photographer be such an intragral part of their lives…that is why I do this. THANK YOU.

It’s been a while since I’ve sat down to blog. Between the last post and now it’s been quite the whirlwind around here! With my dad’s passing and recovering from breaking both of my wrists you could say life is getting back to ‘normal’ for me. It’s only fitting that I start that normalcy off with a post of some of my favorite kiddo’s. Pretty soon one more boy will be added to the mix for them. I can’t wait!!

I love these boys! This session was of the whole family, with an ephasis on little man, Marshall. These guys are growing up with some of the best personalitites i’ve seen. I always have so much fun with them. 🙂

The first time I met this family was 3 years ago. The girls were so cute, and so much fun – dancing around and smiling as big as can be. This time wasn’t much different. They have such sweet little souls, and are a joy to photograph. 🙂

What a difference a few years can make…

I had the privelage of photographing them on their own land this time. This is dad’s favorite view below…

Just like last time we put together an album. Mom told me how much the girls look through their previous session album, and I hope they get as much joy out of this one!

I can’t wait to see these on their walls! On the left is their favorite family portrait in a 20×24 (Dad got the same one in a 16×20 for his office), and a collage to match the previous one we did a few years ago. It’s going to be so neat as the girls grow up to see a timeline of collages! My mom did the same thing of me and all my brothers. 🙂
