On October 15th, 2015 this beautiful baby girl finally got to meet her mom and dad. She was born at 8:50pm weighing 7pounds 8 ounces, and 21.5 inches long! Esme had soft skin, rosy cheeks, bits of brown hair, and big beautiful eyes. I was honored to photograph her within the first 48 hours of her birth. Here are some highlights of our time together. 🙂

When Maggie came into the studio she was such a tiny little girl! I enjoyed every minute photographing her. She slept through the whole session, and barely made a peep. 🙂 For weighing just under 6 pounds she sure had some beautiful baby rolls!

I like to keep my newborn sessions as close to natural as possible. That means I shoot a lot of neutral tones, but I like to throw in a bit of fun color as well. 🙂

Remington Rose. Baby sister to an older brother, and two older sisters! I think it was her Grandpa that said she should have been named Remington Bullet…she came so fast! 🙂 I got the call on August 16th at 8:00pm that mom was in labor. Remi was born at 9:55pm! She was 6 pounds, 12 ounces, and 20 inches long. Lots of hair, gorgeous eyebrows, and beautiful pink skin. 🙂

Deacon’s mama had some fun props for his first portrait session. This boat was hand made with love by some family memebers. Eventually it will turn into a rocking boat that he’ll be able to sit up in and steer. Look for those pictures as he gets a bit older. 🙂

Sometimes we have to take a moment and scream at the photographer lady…

until we get to be back in mom’s arms.

A beautiful baby boy has joined this sweet family. Stone’s big sister adores him, and I see a lot of dress up in his near future. 🙂 Chloe brought her own little suitcase to the studio filled with everything she needed to be picture-ready…and Stone brought a few of his own props. Don’t worry guys, I forgive you for the LSU gear. 😉
