A beautiful family on a beautiful spring day. These sweet kiddo’s made my job way too easy. My hope during every session is that I can capture a child’s true personality. These two sure let me see that, and I hope they enjoy their images for years to come.

People often ask me how I decide what pictures to put up in my own house. Often times I have to be honest and tell them I can’t…which is why I still have too many empty walls. Hahaha! But truthfully I pick the images that on a bad day I can look at my walls and my spirit is lifted. Images that speak to me. Sometimes that is a picture of a beautiful smile, but not always. Go with the images that speak to you. You can’t go wrong.

It was so fun to see this family again this year. These boys never dissapoint for entertainment and personality! Sometimes the best images come from complete chaos…and if mom is reading this she is laughing out loud. 🙂

It was a gorgeous sunny afternoon when I finally got to meet this year’s Single Parent Giveaway winner. Travis and his daughters are big Captain America fans, so of course we had to showcase a bit of that. I told the girls I haven’t seen the latest CA movie, so no spoilers!

We started off at a playground, because really, what better place to take kids?! Chloe and Kendle were so great, and have the sweetest personalities in their own right. 🙂

Beautiful little girls with such beautiful personalities. Dad has certainly got his work cut out for him, but after meeting him I know he’s got this handled. 🙂

Dear Dallas,

You were such a little trooper during your first photoshoot. You streched and yawned, blew bubbles and coo’d. You slept and showed us your beautiful eyes, too. And much to your daddy’s dismay you pooped all the way down to his boots. 🙂 I hope you get lots of sleep now, because you will need all your energy to keep up with your big brothers!

xoxo

Dear Devin,

You were such a tiny little thing when you came into the studio with your parents and big sister. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on you…but you had other plans. You didn’t want to be put down for even a moment. Mom said you hadn’t pooped in a while, and I agreed since you were passing gas like nobody’s business! Finally (after a long while) you pooped. And boy oh boy did that make you happy! You went to sleep like a champ. Even though you won’t remember having your picture taken your mom and dad will. Oh and Devin…your big sister loves you a lot! xoxo
