This session was so much fun!  Little Jack is about to become big brother…not sure how he feels about that…  when I showed him an image of himself he said ‘baby!’.  🙂

I can’t wait to photograph this baby’s birth!  Katie, thanks for all the fun…see you soon.  🙂

I know it’s been a bit quiet on the blog, but it has definitely not been quiet around my house!  The kids are bored with summer and so ready for school to start.  The last couple weeks have been filled with school shopping, cleaning/organizing closets, haircuts, guitar practice and getting work projects underway.  I’m not sure our youngest is going to know what to do with himself when his brother and sister head back to school Thursday.

I  know.  It’s hard to think about fall when it’s still hitting near 100 degrees everyday.  I went shopping the other day for sneakers to start school and was hot just looking at all the corduroy hanging in the shop windows.  I have to admit that I am excited for cooler temperatures after almost every single day the past 3 weeks being over 100 degrees.  I don’t think my A/C kept up very well.

Nevertheless, if you are by nature a procrastinator I suggest starting the new year’s resolution a bit earlier this year.  It never fails that everyone wants to get in during the best foliage weeks.  If that peek color is a high priority for you please don’t wait any longer to call because chances are any available spots will be gone by then.  Right now I only have 2 available appointments for a Saturday left in October.

If foliage isn’t that important to you, but your waiting on cooler temps September is ideal.  Either way click HERE to read about the different session types and then call or email me to schedule your session.

Remember if you were a client last year and you book your fall session before  it has been a year your returning client session fee is only $75!

This past weekend I got to meet several really great women at my first photography class for moms.  Gwen from Motherlode hosted it at her beautiful home and Shannon (her Motherlode partner in crime) helped out.  I gave them a lot of information to soak in, hopefully without overwhelming them!  It wasn’t hard to put myself in their shoes since I remember the frustration of learning my camera so well… 🙂

Thank you to the mama’s who provided (and offered to provide) our little models!  Here are a few shots from our class. ** Keep reading after these images for updates on fall scheduling.**

Fall Scheduling

Things are starting to fill up so if you’ve been on the fence now is the time to jump over.  If you go to THIS POST you can read about the regular and short sessions going on September-November.  Right now I have 2 **weekend spots left in September and **2 left in October so call now if your going to need a Saturday.

I will be closed the entire month of December this year.  No sessions, no editing, no ordering…just family time.  Because of this the** latest possible session to schedule will be November 17th**.  If your pregnant and due after that date please contact me asap as I will always make room for newborns.

I only shoot half the weekends in a given month, so if your looking for a Saturday call early!

I love color.  Can you tell?  🙂  Mom called me when she was already 2 weeks old and we got her in at 3 weeks old.  Still a newbie in my book.  😉

Tricia and Mark enjoy!
