I’ve never been very good at writing. At least, nothing interesting. I guess that’s why I’m a photographer. They say a picture is worth a thousand words so I guess I’ll be posting just over 3000 words tonight.
You can’t look at this image and not know that this little man has found his home. God sure does know what he’s doing even when we can’t see it. His big brother got to journey to Ethiopia to bring him home. Wow. I can’t even begin to imagine how that trip will forever change him.
Mom says he’s very protective of his little brother. Can you tell? 🙂
And finally what’s a photo shoot without some traditional clothing? How cute are those little toes?!
Momma called me when baby ‘A’ was 7 weeks old. The down side of that is they don’t like to curl up well, but the plus side is the belly button! Isn’t this the cutest belly button you’ve ever seen?! Baby ‘A’ put up with a lot. With a little patience we were able to pull off some sleepy shots as well. 🙂
This next session was for Celebrating Adoption. These new parents have the coolest adoption story! Sometimes it’s just impossible to deny God’s power. 🙂
And one more on this post. (Can you tell the rain has given me some time?) 😉 You might remember this little man’s BIRTH. Here he is 7 days fresh. Check out his lips!
Since the weather has forced me to reschedule 2x this weekend I thought I’d take a few minutes to update the blog. It is such a humbling feeling to see return clients. I love seeing how much their children have grown and being able to reconnect with them. I firmly believe that one of the best ways to get genuine images of children is to create a relationship with them. The more of a friendship they develop with the photographer, the better they respond. When you are searching for a photographer to capture real images of your children make sure your child and the photographer connect well. 🙂
Here are just a few of the mini sessions I’ve finished up in the last couple weeks.
